World Wide Technology Raceway, home of the Countdown to the Championship-crucial ²ÞËùÇ¿¼é Midwest Nationals in October, recently completely repaved the asphalt racing surface of its championship drag racing track.

The facility, with guidance from ²ÞËùÇ¿¼é and leading motorsports racing surface consultants, completed the project on July 18. Christ Brothers Asphalt Inc., who also repaved the WWT Raceway oval track in 2017, used a specialty blend of polymers and aggregate designed to maximize track preparation and withstand the demands of 335-plus-mph Top Fuel dragsters and nitro Funny Cars.Ìý
